Build 9.0.3050

I downloaded SP2 on March 10, 2007, and applied it. The system to which I applied it reports 9.0.3050 as the version number, not 9.0.3042. Is this due to the post-SP2 fix?My system, which was updated with the bugged SP2, and then the subsequent hotfix, also reports 9.0.3050. So that seems like a reasonable assumption.|||

Latest version with this fix(Mar 05) is -- 9.00.3050.00

Bug: Query Analyser (german): Cost, percentage, .. in graphical execution plan are wrong

Hi to all,
there is an anoying bug in the Query Analyser (german) version 8.00.760:
In the graphical execution plan costs, percentage, ... are wrong!
If I use set showplan_all on, I will get the right values.
I guess it might be the german decimal character!
If I change the country settings to english(usa) everything ist ok.
Couldn't find this on the msdn side.
Is there any bugfix.

use "," in place of the english "."
it is possible the numerical values are generated by sql
server, and the graphical display by QA, which may be
handling the european convention

Hi
first excuse my bad english, I am french.
I think with older access version we can access to btrieve
files via ODBC but now I have not found a such driver for
actuate version and I have no more first access version ;
I want only to read once time old btrieve files for make
new files with the old data.
Somedy know an odbc driver for btrieve ? not too expansive ;-)
or any suggestions for my recovery/translation ?

BPA Install Problem

I'm installing the latest version of BPA and seem to have run into an issue.
I've uninstalled the app and deleted the old BPA database, and while
reinstalling, I'm seeing an error message come up. "One or more rules could
not be installed. There is an error in XML document (55, 15). Invalid SQL
Server edition."
I'm running everything locally, and running SQL 2k, SP3 on WinXP SP1
Where can I start to look to debug this problem?

Please uninstall and reinstall, but before reinstalling make sure that the
destination folder is empty. At the very least you should make sure that
bpadmin.exe.config file doesn not exist, and that no files or folders are
left under repository folder.
Let me know if that doesn't work.

Can I install SQL Server 7.0 SP2 as a Default version and
SQL Server 2000 SP3 as a named version on a WIndows 2000
SP3 server ?
We will run Connect-Care (Customer-First) Application
against SQL Server 7.0 version and Solomon 5.5 against SQL
Server 2000 version.
Anybody see any problem with this ?

Yep, should work fine. I have found it preferable to install SQL Server
7.0 first, then install SQL 2000 as a named instance. Remember to
configure your memory settings so that they aren't competing with each
other for RAM.
